FAQ
Q: What is Indytronic?
A: Indytronic is an independent record label.

Q: What does the name mean?
A: It's a combination of the words Independent and Electronic, referring to independently produced electronic styles of music.

Q: What is the goal or purpose of the label?
A: Our goal is to help talented artists achieve success with their music. We find up and coming artists and help promote them to a wider range of listeners. We provide the public with new music that they might not hear in the mainstream market.
The people at Indytronic do all this for fun, simply because we love music.  Indytronic is basically a non-profit association. Our employees are not paid. All the profit that is earned by the label is put right back into the business to help it continue and become better and more successful.

Q: What kind of music does the label offer?
A: Our label focuses on quality electronic based music, which includes pretty much any style of music produced with a computer. Some of our main genres include Electronic, Hip Hop, and Pop. We strive to release professional level music that appeals to music enthusiasts as well as the casual listener. Our artists are all versatile and produce and record their own music.

Q: How did this label get started?

A: It all started with an idea in late 2004. The concept was to start an independent record label run by artists, for artists. A closely knit group of artists from an online music community began sharing ideas. Soon there was a group of about 10-15 people involved in the project. In early 2005, Indytronic.com was launched. With hard work, dedication, and perseverance, Indytronic has grown to what it is today.
